After massive protest from the people in Natham, organisers have called off Jallikattu in the Koyilpatti village in the taluk. According to reports, Chief Minister O Panneerselvam planned to start off the sporting event in Natham, after it was cancelled in Alanganallur. Notably, Panneerselvam is expected to return to Chennai.
