India’s chairman of selectors MSK Prasad on Monday revealed that former Indian skipper MS Dhoni was the reason behind BCCI’s decision to name five standby players for India’s ICC Champions Trophy squad. “It was Dhoni's idea to keep the standbys ready. The Indian team has suffered a lot with breakdowns in the middle of big series,” said MSK Prasad. Notably, Dinesh Karthik, Rishabh Pant, Suresh Raina, Kuldeep Yadav and Shardul Thakur were named as reserves for the 15-man Indian squad.
