The Income Tax department, on Monday, said that those who deposit up to Rs. 2.5 lakh would not be questioned about it. According to reports, the government agency also added that only the accounts that fail to match the tax returns would be probed. Notably, CBDT Chairman Sushil Chandra has said that there is no need to fear for any genuine person.
