Reportedly, the chairman of ISRO A.S.Kiran Kumar said that India would launch one of its backup navigation satellites as a replacement for IRNSS-1A satellite this year. IRNSS-1A satellite will be replaced as one of its atomic clocks has failed. Kumar also added that all the other six satellites are operational and providing adequate navigation data.
