Reports suggest that the upcoming iPhone 8 won’t sport Touch ID fingerprint sensor, stating Apple will bring 3D facial recognition instead. The Cupertino giant is testing the 3D facial recognition to unlock the screen and authenticate the user using the new 3D front camera system. Claiming that the 3D system will allow users to unlock the screen, authenticate payments, and launch secure apps, reports said the company is also testing eye scanning to augment the facial recognition system.
