Most of our wardrobe is a mess because we mess up when we take out clothes and folding them and freshly dried clothes are a pain because we wash a lot of clothes and honestly, we would be resting instead. That is why most of us have "that one chair" where we put all our clothes on.
However, a 12-year-old girl from Nigeria named Fathia Abdullahi has built a cheap robot that folds clothes and people like us are already willing to buy it.
According to BBc reports, Fathia learnt how to code when she was 11 and in a year she used it to build a laundry-folding robot. She used some pins, beams, and an EV3 brick which is a programmable circuit which works as the heart of robots and comes with the Lego Mindstorm robotics kit.
The reason is quite relatable. She said she wanted to make it because they wash a lot of clothes on weekends and there are a lot of clothes to fold.
This is a prototype robot, but it folds the t-shirt in 3 seconds. She plans on developing it so that she can sell it to the local markets.
