Friendship can be classified as one of the noble and purest forms of relationships in the world which never fades away. Mama, the 59-year-old female Chimpanzee was the matriarch of the Chimpanzee colony at the Royal Burgers Zoo, Netherlands.
During her last moments of life, she refused to eat or drink anything realizing her death was near. To the joy of Mama, Jan Van hoof, the old friend of Mama turned up in front of her.
Though Mama could not recognize Jan at the beginning, her face lightened up with joy once her senses received the professor. Jon and Mama shared a very long friendship spanning over 40 years. Both of them knew each other since 1972.
Later Mama began eating the food that was fed by Jon. Though the incident happened a couple of years ago, the emotional video of the duo has been shared on Facebook recently. Apparently, the kindness of the last moments of old friendship triggered a lot of viewers to shed tears.
