Visuals depicted her, running behind a bus and making the driver halt the bus followed by which she assists a blind person to get on-board.
Soon this woman was identified as Supriya, who works in sales at Joy Alukkas. The company reported that she lives with her husband and children at a rented house in Kerala. As she gained recognition for her humanity, she was congratulated by her family, peers, and the public at large. However, the owner of her company, Jolly Alukkas took her by surprise as he visited her place of residence to congratulate her.
Further, he had requested her to meet him at his office the following day.
Supriya was gifted with a house by Jolly Alukkas for her kindness. She said, “I never thought it will be such a huge surprise. I was in tears as hundreds of workers of the group cheered me. It was a spontaneous act and I never thought this will fetch me so much of praise and love.”
“‘You must have done so much good work and that might have prompted you to do this also. Kindness will flow and never dry in this world’. I was moved by these words of Jolly Alukkas, wife of the chairman,” she said.
