Sij Hemal, an Indian-American doctor working at Cleveland Clinic’s Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute helped a Nigerian banker named Toyin Ogundipe deliver her baby on an international flight from Paris to New York. He was helped by Dr. Stefanie Ortolan, a pediatrician. The mother, Toyin Ogundipe was quoted as saying, "They did everything a doctor or midwife would have done if I was in the labour room in the hospital. Even better, if you ask me."
