A Hyderabad Consumer Forum on Monday imposed a penalty of Rs 5,000 on INOX multiplex for overcharging the water bottles. The forum also noted that there cannot be two MRPs for the same water bottle, and asked INOX to discontinue the unfair trade practice. The fine was a imposed after a consumer filed a case stating that malls are 'looting' people by overcharging customers.
