India's second-largest software services exporter, Infosys had reportedly suspended the salary hike for its employees below JL5 (Job level 5) until July. According to reports, the initiative was taken to reduce the operating costs. However, Infosys has revealed that it has no plans to reduce the workforce. Infosys, Chief Operating Officer UB Pravin Rao reportedly said: "I would like to put to rest any speculation around planned layoffs. We will primarily see only performance-based exits."
