The BCCI is reportedly in plans to cut short India’s tour of South Africa, which is scheduled to begin in the second week of December 2017. This comes after a BCCI official revealed that the board was in talks to host a tri-series involving New Zealand and Bangladesh before the team departs for South Africa. This might lead to a delay in the series which will force alterations in the summer schedule of Cricket South Africa. Notably, India is scheduled to play South Africa in four Tests, and seven ODIs.
