Pune doctors will reportedly perform the nation’s first uterus transplantation on a 21-year-old woman on Thursday. The process of transplanting will follow the world’s first uterus donor did in Sweden in 2012 by exchanging mothers donating their uteruses to their daughters. Notably, the doctors will perform the second transplantation a day later.
