India's 1st cashless village goes back to cash trade

India’s first cashless village in Telangana has gone back to using cash due to lack of knowledge over the use of technology like swiping machines. A store owner in Ugrawai village, reportedly said, "Many times, we didn't get the money we made through sales using swiping machines". Many shop owners also couldn't afford the machine costing ₹17,000.
