Midwestern U.S. state, Indiana, on Friday reportedly announced an incentive worth $31 million to Indian IT major Infosys. Incidentally, the incentive comes a month after Infosys promised to increase local hiring from the US. According to reports, the proposed incentives are mostly in the form of tax abatements and one-time grants. Notably, it is financed by development funds created by most US states.
