Ajit Pal Nandal, a former Indian international hockey player, adopted as many as 21 girls from classes six to eight of a government school in Rohtak's Bohar village on Wednesday. Nandal will reportedly bear the educational expenses of the girls, train them in sports and support their expenses regarding equipment and fees vis-a-vis sports tournaments. Further, He promised to take care of their expenses till they clear Class XII exams from the government school.
