According to a report by NDTV, the Indian cricket team has suggested that it wants former Indian all-rounder Ravi Shastri to become the head coach of the national side. Notably, Shastri was earlier the director of the team between 2014 and 2016 during which he led India to the semi-finals of the 2015 ICC World Cup. Notably, the interview for the position of head coach is on July 10 in Mumbai, with the deadline for sending in applications set for July 9.
