Indian Army on Friday announced that it successfully fired the land version of its short-range ballistic missile Prithvi-II. According to reports, the missile was fired from a defence base off Odisha coast. Army spokesperson reportedly said: "the missile launch was part of user training exercises and carried a dummy payload."
