Indian-American wins US National Spelling Bee

Ananya Vinay, a 12-year-old Indian-American student, reportedly won the 90th US Scripps National Spelling Bee competition on Thursday. According to reports, Ananya took home the cash prize of  $40,000. After winning the title, Ananya reportedly said: "It’s like a dream come true". Notably, another Indian-origin Rohan Rajeev grabbed the second spot.
