Priya Singh from Mumbai had booked an Uber from the airport. Within 10 minutes of the ride, she heard the azaan being played on the driver's phone. Immediately, she asked the driver, "Are you fasting?" The driver also said, ‘Yes I am fasting today. But it's a rental car, and it's an environment where you have to accept your ride. ''
Immediately Priya Singh did not hesitate and asked him if he wished to offer namaaz. To which he asked if he could. And then, the car was parked on the roadside and she let him offer his namaaz on the back seat while she was sitting on the front seat. Priya took to her LinkedIn page and shared this incident.
She also informed her readers, "We spoke in length about harmony and I expressed my wish to post this to fuel basics of humanity, on all social media platform!"
