The shocking cause of the power outage in a village every night has now been revealed.
In Ganeshpur village in Purnia district of Bihar state, power supply has been cut off for about 2, 3 hours daily at night only for the last few months. Initially, people thought it was a normal power outage.
But as this continued for several months the villagers became skeptical. Following this, they have started investigating in this regard. Then it came to light that there was no such power outage in the neighboring village. The shocked villagers are actively investigating the background to the power cut.
It was then revealed that an electrician in the area had disconnected the power supply daily to meet his girlfriend in the dark. The shocked villagers caught the electrician and his girlfriend red-handed inside a school. The villagers then barraged the captured electrician. The two are then said to have been married in the presence of the villagers.
Police official Vikas Kumar Assad said they were aware of the incident but no villagers had lodged a complaint. The incident where an electrician plunged a village into darkness for a few hours to meet his girlfriend at night is shocking.
