In Kerala, the death of a student due to a piece of meat stuck in his throat has plunged the people of the area into grief.
Aashiq hails from Chethalur near Perinthalman in Malappuram district of Kerala. His wife is Fatima Hanan. The 22-year-old was studying for a BSc at a nearby private college. Meanwhile, a piece of meat suddenly got stuck in Hanan's throat while Ashiq and his wife were eating at their house in Chennai yesterday. Hanan is devastated and does not know what to do.
No matter how hard he tried, Hanan could not get the piece of meat stuck in his throat. Meanwhile, she suffered from shortness of breath as a piece of meat went into Hanan's trachea. Seeing this, Aashiq and his family immediately planned to take Hanan to the hospital.
Accordingly, Hanan was admitted for treatment at a nearby private hospital. Doctors struggled to remove the piece of meat stuck in the student's throat. However, Hanan died as treatment failed.
Similarly, when a policeman was having lunch at Mettupalayam in Coimbatore district yesterday, food got stuck in his throat. It is noteworthy that the Assistant Inspector of Police immediately gave first aid to the aggrieved policeman and saved the life of the policeman.
