India has recorded the highest temperature in March this year after 122 years, according to the Meteorological Department of India.

The sun has been shining brightly in India since the end of February. The heat wave is raging in various states in central India. People in neighboring states have been advised not to come out between 12 noon and 4 pm. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, March recorded should be highest temperature in 122 years.
High temperature
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the highest level of sunshine since 1901 was recorded in March.
The maximum temperature recorded in March 2022 was 33.1 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 20.24 degrees Celsius. This is 1.86 degrees Celsius higher than the average summer temperature in March. The Meteorological Department has forecast above-average sunshine this year, even in mountainous areas.
Prior to this, the average temperature recorded in 2010 was 33 degrees Celsius.
Forecast
The Indian Meteorological Department has released its forecast for April this year. Accordingly, the southern peninsula, including Tamil Nadu, is expected to experience normal and below normal temperatures in April.
The Indian Meteorological Department has also forecast higher than normal temperatures in northwestern, central and some northeastern India.
