Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel yesterday (Thursday) inaugurated various welfare schemes in Chhattisgarh's Bastar district. The Chief Minister inaugurated the Rs 44.54 crore projects and laid the foundation stone for the Indira Priyadarshini ground to be constructed at a cost of Rs 12 crore. Lokeswari is a student from Chitrakoot in Chhattisgarh. Her father died 15 years ago. Lokeswari has told the Chief Minister that she is in a lot of trouble due to the economic crisis. Lokeswari also said that she and her brother could not continue their education due to lack of financial resources.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel immediately offered Rs 3 lakh to help student Lokeswari, who was unable to get an education due to lack of economic facilities and requested for help. Upon learning of Lokeswari's need, the Chief Minister summoned the Bastar District Officer and immediately ordered him to pay Rs 3 lakh to the girl's family. The public applauded and cheered.
