The Billiards and Snooker Federation of India announced on Monday that India would be hosting the World Billiards Championships for the next four years. The secretary of BSFI said that this would be the only World Championship recognised by all, as the earlier one held by World Billiards Limited will not be taking place anymore. Notably, the prestigious tournament was held in Bengaluru last year as well and was won by India’s own Pankaj Advani.
