According to reports, India is all set to become the world's third-largest solar power market. India is likely to bypass Japan by the end of 2017 to become the third largest solar energy. The top two spots are filled by China and USA, respectively. Notably, the tariff of solar power in India has also dropped to Rs 3.15 per unit.
