India records first case of new Petya ransomware attack

According to reports, the first reported case of Petya ransomware attack in India came to spotlight after the malware disrupted operations at one of the terminals of Mumbai's Jawaharlal Nehru Port, India's largest container port on Tuesday. Notably, this comes after several businesses across Europe, and the US reported that they were targeted by the 'Petya' ransomware, which experts say is similar to WannaCry ransomware.
