India on Thursday reportedly received the first artillery guns since the 1980s Bofors scam, after two new 145 M777 ultra light artillery guns ordered from the United States arrived ahead of schedule. Reportedly, the weapons will be tested at Rajasthan’s Pokhran field firing range by May 19. Notably, Out of the 145 guns ordered, 120 will be assembled in India by Mahindra Defence.
