A 19-year-old man was allegedly set on fire by unidentified men when he objected to the men taunting his girlfriend in outer Delhi’s Bawana. The man has reportedly been admitted to GB Hospital with injuries. Reports say, the accused came on a motorbike and allegedly taunted the girl, and when the victim objected to this, the accused allegedly poured inflammable liquid on him and set him ablaze. Police investigations are underway and since there were contradictions in the statement of the victim and the girl, the possibility of self-immolation hasn’t been ruled out as yet.
