YOUTH KIDNAPS AND KILLS COUSIN FOR RANSOM OF RS 1 CRORE

According to reports, a 25-year-old man abducted his 17-year-old cousin for a ransom of Rs 1 crore but ended up killing him after the victim's father went to the police. Pankaj allegedly lured his cousin Sahil Mehra promising to get him a computer game. He kept him locked up in a house and had asked his friends to keep an eye on him.

Pankaj even tried urging Sahil's father to not call the police. However, Sahil's father did not heed Pankaj's words and ended up informing the police. Panicking, Pankaj ordered his friends to kill his cousin. Sahil was shot in the head and disposed into a canal.

The accused was arrested on Thursday by the police. The body of the victim is yet to be found.
