A dead body of a woman was recovered in New Delhi by the police on Monday. It was dumped outside a hotel in Northeast Delhi’s Shastri Park area.
The police were informed on June 8, around 4:30pm. The deceased’s body was dumped in a carton with a sack, which was left outside the hotel. A blue scarf was tied to the woman’s neck. The police have said that the identity of the woman is yet to be ascertained.
However, they have also said that she would be around 25-30 years of age. The crime scene is being investigated. The recovered body has been sent to a hospital for examination. An autopsy report is awaited.
The crime is being investigated by the senior police official Ved Prakash Surya. A charge for murder has been filed.
