VIDEO: YOUNG WOMAN SHOT IN FACE WHEN SHE STOPPED DANCING AT A WEDDING  

In a shocking case from Uttar Pradesh's Chitrakoot town, a young woman was shot in the face when she stopped dancing at a wedding. 

The tragic incident was caught on camera where the woman, who was part of a dancing group, can be seen dancing on the stage. She was on the stage with a co-performer when the incident took place. 

In a video which is currently going viral, a man, who is said to be drunk, is heard saying: "Goli chal jayegi (shots will be fired)," after the woman stops dancing on the stage. 

Within seconds another man shouts saying, "Sudhir bhaiya, aap Goli chala hi do (Brother, you should fire the gun)". The woman was then suddenly shot from behind.

This moment takes everybody by surprise as the bullet hits her face and injured others on the stage too.

According to NDTV reports, this tragic incident happened on December 1 during a performance at the wedding of village head Sudhir Singh Patel's daughter. The woman is currently recuperating at a hospital in Kanpur.
