According to reports, Sweety Sen, a 25-year-old woman from Nainital has allegedly married two women while pretending to be a man and has been booked for torturing one of them for dowry. A police officer was quoted as saying that Sweety Sen had created an account on a social networking site in the name of Krishna Sen in 2013 and married one of the women she befriended there. Two years later, she married another woman in Uttarakhand and allegedly tortured her for dowry. The Uttarakhand police has booked a case of forgery against her.
