WING COMMANDER ABHINANDAN TO BE RELEASED TOMORROW - PAK PM IMRAN KHAN

On Wednesday, Indian Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was captured by the Pakistani Army during a shootout. Pakistan today assured that the Indian Air Force pilot will be released if it means the de-escalation of the tense situation between the two countries.

In the latest turn of events, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan announced that Wing Commander Abhinandan will be released tomorrow. The Pakistan PM mentioned that the pilot's release is a form of a peace gesture.

Khan added, "Our efforts to de-escalate should not be considered as our weakness." Imran Khan will also make a telephonic phone call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to possibly settle tension between the two countries.
