Indian Wing Commander Abhinandan was captured by the Pakistani Army during a shootout that took place on Wednesday. The IAF pilot went missing after an Indian aircraft shot down Pakistani fighter aircraft that targetted a military installation in India.
Pakistan initially claimed that two IAF pilots have been captured by them and are being treated properly. However, India has not mentioned anything about a second pilot. The captured pilot was identified as Wing Commander Abhinandan.
Footage of Abhinandan getting beaten up by the locals has now made its rounds on social media. From the video, the IAF pilot can be seen rescued by Pakistani troops as locals surround to hit him.
