A shopkeeper from Mysore caught a mouse that stole grains from his shop, tied it to a jar and beat it with a stick. The man, Melahalli Ramanna, tied the rodent in 'X' shape with a rope and beat him with a stick continuously. In the video captured by his friend, Ramanna is asking the tied mouse if it would eat the flour and wheat again. An animal welfare officer reportedly said, “This is truly a disturbing video. I do not know where the world is heading. How can a person torture an animal like that?”
