According to reports, locals of a village in Haryana closed down a school after all the students who took the class 10 exam failed. 51 students of Deeghot Senior Secondary School took up their class 10 CBSE exam and all ended up failing.
The sarpanch of the village reportedly said, "We felt ashamed that all our students of Class 10 failed in the examination bringing a bad name to our village, which has won many awards in the past."
The villagers reportedly locked the school on Wednesday and demanded that the principal should be changed. Following their demands, the Haryana government has ordered a probe to find out the reason for the students' failure.
