A man who jumped into the lion enclosure at Trivandrum Zoo “to have a chat with the lion” was rescued after he was spotted by a member of the zoo staff. A zoo official was quoted as saying, “It would have been a major tragedy if the watchman failed to notice him. If he teased the animal, it would become violent in no time.”
