VAJPAYEE UNDERGOING DIALYSIS, LEADERS VISIT IN AIIMS TO MEET FORMER PM

According to reports, the former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee was on Monday admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for a “routine check-up”. In a statement, the BJP and by AIIMS said that his condition is stable.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, Congress president Rahul Gandhi, home minister Rajnath Singh and health minister J.P. Nadda visited the former PM at AIIMS.

Media reports stated that Vajpayee arrived there at around 11.30 am for a routine check-up and was admitted to the Cardio Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at CN Centre.
