MAN MARRIES OFF WIFE TO HER LOVER IN KANPUR

According to reports, a man in Kanpur married off his wife to her boyfriend after coming to know of their relationship. Sujit from Sanigwan village near Chakeri conducted the marriage of the woman Shanti and her boyfriend Ravi on Wednesday at a Hanuman temple with the presence of a huge number of guests.

Sujit married Shanti from Shyam Nagar area of Kanpur on February 19. The woman, however, left for her parents’ place on some pretext after living at the in-laws’ place for a fortnight. When she took too long to return, Sujit visited her and asked why she didn’t return. While she initially avoided his questions, later confessed that she was in love with another man and was married to Sujit against her will.

Initially, Sujit got upset but later decided to hold their wedding. He got Shanti’s parents convinced and also met her lover Ravi from Lucknow, who confessed their relationship. Later, Sujit informed the local police and held the wedding. According to a Times of India report, local police said, “It was a sweet and lovely gesture from Sujit's side, one will never forget him for long.”
