COPS DOUBT TEEN'S GANG-RAPE CLAIMS, SHE KILLS SELF

A 14-year-old girl in Budaun district of Uttar Pradesh committed suicide two days after cops didn't believe her complaint that she was kidnapped and gang-raped by a man she knew and two of his friends on Monday.

Even though an FIR was lodged, cops said that they didn't believe the girl's version since she didn't have injury to her private parts. The minor's father is a daily wage labourer while her mother is a homemaker.

The girl's body was sent for post-mortem while an investigation is underway regarding her suicide as well.
