According to reports in The Hindu, at least eight people were killed when the truck they were travelling overturned after its rear tyre burst. The incident occurred on Wednesday near the railway gate at Chinnahothur, near Aspari in Kurnool district, AP. The migrant labourers from Andhra Pradesh worked in cotton fields in Telangana. They departed for home with rice and commodities essential for six months after completing their work. At least 20 others, who sustained injuries, have been admitted to hospital, reports added.
