The BJP supporters in Tripura on Monday brought down a statue of communist icon Lenin, also known as Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, two days after the saffron party won the mandate, say reports. The saffron party supporters brought down the statue, located in the College Square of the town, with the help of JCB in Belonia town of the state. While CPI(M) leaders have condemned the vandalism, BJP leaders have strongly criticised the act.
