In West Bengal, Trinamool Congress swept the civic body elections on Thursday by winning 140/148 wards which is more than 94% of the seats. The opposition party BJP won four wards. Reportedly, the TMC continues with its political dominance because of the development activities taken by CM Mamata Banerjee.
