Transgender alleges that she was denied from entering mall

Sonali Dalvi, a transgender has alleged that she was denied entry by Phoenix Marketcity in Pune citing that as a rule transgenders can't enter the mall. The incident is reported to have happened on Thursday evening. The mall, however, has claimed the allegations to be false. The incident has caused much furore, once again bringing to light the difference in treatment being meted out to the third gender.
