TN student in Gujarat college attempts suicide due to caste discrimination

According to reports, a medical student from Tamil Nadu has attempted suicide due to alleged caste discrimination at his college in Gujarat. Mariraj from Rameswaram village near Kadayanallur area of Tirunelveli district is a third-year postgraduate student at BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad. The student is reportedly admitted to hospital and is receiving treatment.
