COP BEATEN UP FOR TRYING TO STOP NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY

A police officer became the recipient of violence after he was beaten up for trying to stop a New Year's Eve party on the night of December 31.

A party was organised at the town hall of Ulhasnagar on the night of December 31. Reportedly, loud music was played at the party and the police had to arrive at the party went on till 4 am. Police Inspector Deepak Dabhade unplugged the music system and tried to stop the party by taking the manager of the town hall into custody.

A few party guests joined the manager. Reportedly, Manish Sonawane was taking a video of the investigation and in a heat of the argument he beat the officers up. Sonawane was accompanied by his accomplice, Mahesh Kordale.

A case has been registered against the two.
