JOURNALIST POISONS WIFE, CHILDREN BEFORE HANGING SELF

A journalist with a vernacular newspaper in Andhra Pradesh named Hanumantha Rao allegedly hanged himself to death after poisoning his wife Meena and their two children aged three and five on Thursday morning.
Rao was a reporter for ‘Andhra Bhoomi’ daily and is learned to have been depressed for some months now and was heavily into debts.
While Rao and the kids died, his wife survived and was rushed to the hospital by neighbours, where her condition is said to be critical.
