What seemed as an incredibly generous part on a young teenager from Madhya Pradesh, turned out costing a bit too much for his father. A teenaged boy from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh had taken Rs 46 lakh from his father and distributed it among his friends on Friendship Day.
The father, a builder, had Rs 60 lakh in his almirah after a recent sale of a property. He later found out that his money was missing. The man immediately went to the police and after an initial investigation, it was found that it was his son who had taken the money.
The boy reportedly gave Rs 15 lakh to a daily wage labourer's son and Rs 3 lakh to a friend who wrote his homework for him. One of the boy's friends had even bought a car with the money. The police are currently trying to recover the distributed money.
According to reports, the boy who received Rs 15 lakh has been missing ever since receiving the money. The police are trying to locate him.
