According to media reports, a 10-year-old girl from Maharashtra was ‘bought’ by a techie couple in Hyderabad to work as a maid in their home. The girl was reportedly ‘sold’ when she was 2-year-old. A video, taken by the couple’s neighbour emerged on social media, in which the child nodded her head when asked, ‘’Are they hitting you?’’. Reportedly the the couple tied the girl with a rope after she finished her works.
